La storia del profumo

Seduzione, sacralità, cura del corpo, nobiltà, vivacità: il profumo da sempre ha valenze diverse e fin dalla sua nascita ha giocato un ruolo di primo piano nella vita dell’uomo.

La sua origine si perde nella notte dei tempi, quando l’uomo cominciò a bruciare alcuni particolari tipi di legname e resine per ottenerne odori fragranti. Infatti, per fumis in latino è la locuzione che ha dato origine alla parola profumo.

Vi proponiamo una breve storia del profumo, in attesa di approfondire l’argomento.

L’antichità

Se la prima fabbrica del profumo sembra essere sorta a Cipro precisamente a Pyrgos nel XX Secolo a.C., è all’epoca degli antichi egizi che risalgono i primi documenti sulla profumeria. In questa civiltà, le fragranze venivano sia impiegate nell’igiene quotidiana sia come strumento di seduzione sia nei riti religiosi: ai profumi veniva attribuita la proprietà di fare da tramite alle preghiere umane nell’aldilà ed erano usati nel processo di imbalsamazione.

    Scammer! Sold me a fake item after claiming it was 100% authentic and sealed. It arrived damaged, unsealed, and clearly counterfeit. Ignored all my messages and refused to provide a return label. Even the manufacturer confirmed it’s fake. Total fraud—do not trust this seller. They should be banned from eBay. Disgraceful, dishonest, and a waste of time and money. I hope this stops others from being scammed like I was.
