About us
This account is critical fundraising for the South Devon Players theatre company, a theatre company based - yes you guessed it, in Devon. We specialise in shows bringing to life classical literature (including but not limited to) Shakespeare, & researched history, which we bring to the public on tour twice a year and also into schools, and community groups. We also run low cost training and portfolio building workshops for people building careers in the creative industries. And above all, we were founded to create inclusive, high quality opportunities to launch, or further, careers in theatre, for local (Devon) people, regardless of age, gender, ethnicity, neurodiversity, etc, in a safe, hard-working and supportive space. Sadly we dont get funding in the normal ways, so we rely on things like ebay to raise vital funds. This account, and all our admin, is all volunteer run. South Devon Players is a non-profit, limited by guarantee, and volunteer-run. Volunteers run this account.
