About us

Selling a range of authentic spice recipe and seasoning kits. From the world's hottest curry, Carolina Reaper, Phaal made with Naga Ghost Chilli, Vindaloo made with Fiery Habanero Chilli you find then here.
Back in 1994 when founder, Ketan Varu, was at university, his mum sent him recipes and spices to make real Indian curries. Pretty soon all his friends were hooked and the idea for Spicentice was born.
Years later Spicentice is very much a family business (with mum, Manjula, and dad, Ramnik, still making sure Ketan eats a good lunch!) and the range has grown to include Indian, Thai, Mexican, Portuguese, Cajun, Jamaican and Moroccan spice kits, along with handy tubs of herb & spice rubs.
Spicentice has a commitment to traditional recipes that have been perfected over generations, with 100% pure herbs & spices, no waste and absolutely no nasties! Ketan now has a young family of his own and continues the tradition of cooking and sharing meals with family and friends.

    I was extremely disappointed when I received my order to find the wrong items sent out. Despite contacting the seller twice to resolve this issue, no reply was received. Such a shame as my husband and I were really looking forward to using the Souvlaki mix. I really would not recommend using this company as they seem to have zilch customer service. I find it extremely rude that nobody from this company can even be bothered to show some courtesy to its customers. Awful experience.
