About us

St Peter & St James Hospice services include an In-patient Unit, Community Care for patients at home and day services in our Wellbeing Centre. All these services are provided free of charge to our patients and their families. We receive less than 18% of the funding we need from Government sources and that means we have to raise over £8,000 every day from charitable donations.All the profit from the sale of our eBay auctions goes directly to the Hospice to help us care for our patients and their loved ones.

    Although the item took 7 days to dispatch (which did feel like a long time when compared to the promptness of other sellers), in fairness this was still just within the eBay listing's stated aim of dispatching orders "within 3-5 working days". No personalised communications from the seller, which would have been helpful, if only as a courtesy and for reassurance purposes. Postage cost of £5.50 arguably on the high side. All that said, item received and as described. Thank you.

    Item not sent within stated time of 5 days, despite prompt pay, zero communication on delay, no courtesy/apology update, no tracking provided at all despite delivery cost, parcel took long time to arrive. Seller ignored & rejected offers close to sale price, delaying the sale (so why list as open to offers?) Birthday gift deadline missed due to very slow & minimal interaction. Item picture showed potentially removable scuff/mark but description didn't mention it's actually a deep scratch.
