About us

St Peter & St James Hospice services include an In-patient Unit, Community Care for patients at home and day services in our Wellbeing Centre. All these services are provided free of charge to our patients and their families. We receive less than 18% of the funding we need from Government sources and that means we have to raise over £8,000 every day from charitable donations.All the profit from the sale of our eBay auctions goes directly to the Hospice to help us care for our patients and their loved ones.

Very securely and carefully wrapped (vintage glass Codd bottle) and a great value purchase. P&P is perhaps a little punchy at £5.50 but given the seller is a charity I understand that they would want to ensure they cover all costs. Very happy to recommend seller on the basis of this experience.

    BE AWARE Listing stated ParcelForce48 with a charge of £5.50. I was beginning to get worried after reading other feedback but eventually item showed 'sent untracked' and arrived a week after order via Royal Mail. Packaging good and good price for item (but I can't control what others bid up to). I believe the charity is a good cause, hope they take comment on-board. I would buy from them again but bear above in mind - hence positive feedback.

    A very positive experience, I liked the look of this cd/dab radio and found the sound to be as good as the unit looked. The item arrived with lots of bubble wrap around it, inside a cardboard box, well protected. It had been left in a safe place, as we were out when it must have been delivered. The final price when the auction finished was very competitive, I feel that I was lucky to win it at that price, including postage. The unit was as described, I am not disappointed.

    This coffee grinder works perfectly and we're enjoying freshly-ground coffee from our Kenwood Chef. There was a small problem when the courier didn't leave a note through my door when the package was delivered, but the hospice shop were exceptionally helpful and responsive when I contacted them to ask if they could help and quickly both told me where the package was (across the road, in our Post Office!) and gave me the details I needed to retrieve it. I wish them all the best in their work!
