  This plate will be a serving dish to accompany a pair of the same pattern's dinner plates that I enjoy when I make traditional comfort food favorites. The plate was packed like a large retailer would have handled it and arrived in pristine condition. This time of the year, shipping is complicated by temperature extremes - especially for stoneware. Upon seeing the lovely plate, I was glad the seller displayed good photos to help me with my decision to buy it. Excellent value and great quality.

  The delay in shipping was the result of the postal office, not the seller. With this in mind, seller should use another carrier for shipping packages
