About us
Suzy's Slippers LLC is a registered Florida Nursery with the Florida Department of Agriculture, and is certified nematode free to ship to California as well as the other continental United States. I also hold USDA import and CITES licenses. I have been growing orchids in South Florida for over 40 years. In 2007 I read an article published by the American Orchid Society on a new Phragmipedium discovered in Peru, the kovachii. It was love at first sight and I have been hooked on “slipper orchids” ever since. A few years ago, I decided I wanted to focus on growing “slipper babies” and Suzy’s Slippers was born.
