The Swindon Downs syndrome group is a parent led charity supporting people with Downs syndrome and their families in Swindon and the surrounding areas.
We are here to help people with Downs syndrome to have the same opportunities as everyone else and raise awareness of Downs syndrome in the local community.

About us
Swindon Down's Syndrome Group was set up for one purpose - to improve the quality of life for our community. We are a small charity but a big community. We are many families, all voluteering our time and experience as parents, carers and siblings to make life that little bit more fun and to ensure our families with Down syndrome have all the opportunities and support they need throughout their lives.
The right to be heard, to be able to make your voice known and understood is fundamental to all of us - just because someone has Down's syndrome doesn't change that.
Our amazing socks are being sold in our shop and the monies will go towards helping our young people with Down's syndrome get into the work place. Although our socks can be worn all year round, we encourage everyone to wear their odd socks on 21st March (World Down's Syndrome Day) to get everyone talking about Down's syndrome and in turn raising awarness.
