    Item seems well made, but the materials are very thin. Item arrived with the spruce soundboard cracked in two places. The shipping box used was the original factory carry box with no additional protection; it was not up to the rigors of FEDEX handling, thus the damage. The seller promptly sent a return label, but upon his receipt of the returned item, offered no further information about a replacement so, after repeated queries, I moved on to another vendor. Still waiting for the refund...

    Not as pictured.Mislead.Got new strings but whole different style.Which are the worst value&quality hofner strings.Small ball ends.Pictured Black winding where the ones to have.Thought I had found them but got new package which shows the green windings.Then said last 1 but still have up for sale today as last 1.Seller pictured the black olds in old package far from what I got.Free return,refunded full,was asap.Sad was mislead making seller untrustworthy yep!Lied about last 1, oh what let a down!

    Hello 2004blackssr, I'm sorry to hear that you were disappointed with the strings. The only difference between these and the discontinued version is the packaging and the color of the winding. The quality is the same as the discontinued version! Thank you
