About us

We are changing the hobby for the good! We donate a % of every sale we make to an adoption charity called Raise the Future! We call it #cardsforacause!

We started this because like many people we could not find any sports cards at any store and wanted a place where we could go every night and hang out with friends. Matt's oldest son (James) suggested we also help more kids get adopted, so we put them together and Great American Sports Cards was born!

    Card was exactly as described, packaged well and was a good value at market. My major gripe was shipping. It took over a week before it shipped with me having to reach out and then that day it was marked as shipped. However it still took a few days to land on the post offices hands and about 2 1/2 weeks to receive this card. I’m leaving neutral feedback and I don’t want to be unfair and maybe something happened but received no communication through any of this transaction.

    The only line in the description clearly calls out our shipping process. You paid after the deadline so it went out 100% to our shipping timeline described in the listing.

    Bakersfield combines shipping for the whole week and does an excellent job packaging. They are always organized and every break is as described. You get what you see. I love that they extend the breaks out to kids and even allow them to participate in some breaks. I also happen to think they (the kids) are my good luck charm. Communication is great- and I never get mad when they don’t pull the cards I wanted.
