About us

The Cheap Shop is a traditional Haberdashery store based in Tiptree, Essex, and specialises in Patchwork & Quilting Fabrics, Dressmaking Fabrics and Knitting Yarns.
We are a small family-owned business that has been trading for over 50 years, with three generations of our family currently working together here.
We originally started as London market stall traders (hence our unusual name!) and over the years we morphed into a craft shop.
We have well-stocked shelves and a whole variety of items from the basics to the more unusual.
We pride ourselves on a very personal customer service, so if you would like to talk to us please give us a call!

Product was exactly as expected. Great quality and value for money. Packaging was good. Vacuum packed so it fitted through the letterbox which is handy, meaning no worries about missed deliveries being left with neighbour etc. Seller responded quickly to queries and was very helpful. Only negative is Royal Mail was used for delivery and I find they provide a poor service compared to others.
