About us

I’m continuing the hand-knotted carpet and kilim collection and repair job, which was set up in 1945 by my grandfather with a great passion and brought today by my father, at a different point. At the first step of the job my grandfather has travelled all among Anatolia village by village and he used to collect the kilim, knotted by talented hands, and the ones needed to be repaired due to the usage of years then he was repairing the kilim and bringing those together with the buyers. Then my father took the job one step forward and he came to Istanbul, set a team with his brothers and sisters. A part of this team was travelling among Anatolia, actually doing the same thing that my grandfather did, and the others were located in Istanbul and repairing the brought used kilim. Thus more kilim could be brought to more buyers. In the last five years I am trying to bring the job more forward.
