About us
In 2013 sisters Eve and Suzanne founded The Green Woman to create skin and bodycare alternatives that are safer for us and the planet.
All our products are natural, organic, synthetic-free and vegan. We don’t use any bulking agents so a little goes a long way, which means we can use less packaging too. The packaging is plastic free and recyclable, and we have a jar return scheme.
We hand make all our products in the UK, pay our colleagues well, and treat them with love.
In 2021 The Green Woman gained the prestigious Soil Association COSMOS Organic accreditation. Of the thousands of beauty products that claim to be organic, few are organically certified.
Today The Green Woman is still a 100% owned family business, so we keep full ethical control of what we do and how we do it. And 10% of our profits go to support environmental projects.
