About us
The Jeweller's Hand was founded in 2005 as a school project between Eleanor and her Mum, Angela. Both were captivated by the many shapes, textures, materials and colours of beads available and soon, the business took off. Angela had discovered a new gift in creative, bespoke design, and also in passing on her skills in jewellery making and she began to teach classes locally in Dorset at Hobbycraft and in her own workshop, as well as further afield in schools and craft events.
Her workshops became known as 'Bead Therapy' and she relished comments like, "I love being in your workshop, it's like living in a rainbow!" As the workshops grew in popularity, so did Angela & Eleanor's stock, until it eventually took over the largest room in their house with floor to ceiling shelves being built to accommodate the supplies!
Angela now manages this business alongside 'Succeed From The Start' where she supports Start-Up Businesses with tech and visibility. If you need help with either, just ask!
