  The sword is in very good condition as described. It arrived in a well cushioned box. The seller lowered the price when he discovered it was not used in the Civil War. The only negative was the USPS for whom the seller had no control. The box arrived at our local post office on the 10th and yet, wasn’t delivered until the 14th.

  Museum piece perfectly packed and quickly shipped to "eBay International Shipping"... from where it took 2 months to ship to Paris, France and deliver today, after being stuck at their Illinois hub ("shipping canceled" with no specific explanation to me!).
