About us
The Mad Collector sells a large array of Cast Exclusive Disneyana, Hard Rock Café memorabilia, vintage, retro, old, and antique fishing tackle, books, toys and trains, sterling and plated silver, sports memorabilia, and other unique items especially curated from over 60 years of collecting interesting objects from around the country. The majority of our items date to Mid-20th Century or before. Our Disneyana items come from the very special insider collection of a Disney cast member in the 1980s. The fishing tackle represents a collection acquired over nearly 70 years of angling.
I use the following definitions in designating the period in which an item was manufactured--Antique: An item that is at least 100 years old and is of considerable value. Old: An item that was produced or created prior to 1950, but is not an antique. Retro: An item that was produced or created in the period 1950-1969. Vintage: An item that produced or created in the period 1970--1989.
