About Us: We are different. As brothers, we were instilled with this passion from our Dad & his Dad. We are car guys & interested in almost anything automotive related. Since 1993, we have traveled North America, with our concentration being in the Northeast and are constantly on the look out for these gems. We acquire a wide array of auto parts for most anything pre-1970, that we think will be of value to people’s projects. We have provided countless everyday parts, as well as extremely hard to find items for some of the world’s premiere vehicles and collections. Most of our parts end up on vehicles but some are in automobilia collections, museums, themed restaurants and everything in between. We are always buying and selling hard to find old car & truck parts, collectibles, tools, advertising, automobilia and petroliana from an era gone by. From estates, barns & closed garages, we source everywhere. Our lifelong mission is to locate & save these items and get them to people in need.

Item Received. However, the seller advertised the fuel pump fitting a 1955-1957 Pontiac which is completely wrong. Since I have been rebuilding fuel pumps since 1985, I knew this prior to purchase and the numbers on the metal id tag 29761 indicated a 1952-1953 Buick Special as shown in the photos. The average buyer would not have this knowledge prior to purchase and would have had a terrible experience with the seller. The Old Car Parts Store should have a better working knowledge of parts.

We are not experts in every single part we sell. If "the average buyer" would not know this, it would be tough for us to know as well. We certainly work with our customers on any "issues", so please don't assume that a buyer would have a "terrible experience". Our 32 years in business and 100% feedback speaks volumes for our customer service. Feel free to shop where the seller knows as much as you do.

After 32 years of business, you should know which fuel pump numbers fit which vehicles stating that you have this 'experience in old car parts.' Well, it is apparent that you do not after making such a grandiose false statement We have been in business since 1985, selling through Hemmings Motor News and swap meets over the decades long before the internet. I rephrase my earlier statement that having a name Old Car Parts Store, unfortunately does not have a better working knowledge of parts.

The vendor was great and went above and beyond my expectations! They provided opening instructions so I wouldn’t damage the product once it arrived.
In addition, everything was shipped very quickly and safely, with no damage or alteration from the photos describing the product.
Overall a very positive experience!!
