Therefore unlikely to be glass or cubic zirconia, which is a good start, as such fakery is my main concern in buying gems from ebay. Not technically a high grade of stone, but a ring I am very happy to have in my collection. Seller has a specialty of tourmalines in various colours, most larger than this, and many lovely things among these, very good value-for-money.
