My sense of thrift came from my depression era Nana who, as a widow with 2 small children learned how to save and survive on the goods that so many Americans throw away. This generation were the ones that reused and recycled long before it became trendy. This little lady introduced me to my first flea market and auction at a very young age. I remember wandering between the parked cars with their wares thrown out on blankets on the back of trucks and car hoods. Shivering in the cold morning air, I would watch her and my cousin Dick pouring over old glass bottles and books, hoping for that quarter deal. Both are gone now but their love of the hunt lingers in my veins. I have a wide array of items sourced from thrift stores, auctions, rental cleanouts, or even an occasional dumpster or Amazon bins. Welcome to my store.
