As a Desert Storm Era Army Veteran, I originally opened an eBay store back in 2010 - to supplement my income while attending college to pursue my Master's degree in Psychology. Currently, I am a Behavioral Consultant, servicing children and adults with Cognitive, Developmental and Intellectual Disabilities. Profits made in my store are now donated to charities that provide community resources for this population I now serve. The items I sell could easily be donated, however the profit gained from selling them provides more monetary value that can be distributed to individual programs that assist this population. Your support toward my cause with each purchase "pays forward" to this population in need and provides you with an item that has sentimental value knowing you contributed to people in need.
