I am a qualified engineer and I spent many years manufacturing and testing electronic circuit boards and assemblies. My experience helps me diagnose, repair and refurbish most non functioning laptops. I focus on Thinkpads because in my opinion they are robust, well designed and well documented. IBM / Lenovo Thinkpads are often the choice of laptop for large companies and organisations worldwide and I used these innovative machines on a daily basis. I buy broken laptops from many sources and it is my ambition and passion to restore them to their former glory and save them from landfill or incineration. A refurbished Thinkpad represents a very realistic alternative to a modern laptop for an affordable and sensible price. My laptops are not the cheapest on Ebay but my prices reflect the amount of work that has been conscientiously carried out - including fan / heatsink cleaning and thermal paste replacement. Note: If you need a different OS installed - just ask me !!!

10 Stars all the way. I bought the computer whilst away at work. Seller loaded Linux for me and sorted out the fingerprint reader for me and ensured Libre Office was installed and working. I specifically wanted xfce mint which the seller also went out of his way to supply. The computer arrived well packaged and in excellent condition. The Asus computer arrived very quickly and very well packed - thank you. It was as good or even better than described on the sale page. Communication with the seller was both very quick and excellent in content. Postage cost and delivery were perfect and better than most of the other items that I have purchased in the past.
