The pictures were somewhat misleading because the upper light source requires an extra power supply and is not electrically connected to the microscope. A picture (showing the unattached plug) and text describing this would have been nice in retrospect but I am happy with the purchase overall.

We purchased the item as new and didn't realize the small cap on top was missing. We had one exchange of messages and mentioned we would look for the missing piece...I hardly call that a run around!! The person that was going to get back to you had a medical emergency and we missed responding. Had you reached out to us we would have gladly given you a full refund. WE ARE NOT CLOWNS! We are husbands and fathers with MBA's and even a PHD that are trying to grow a business!
