    Shipping was slow, barely obeying 7 day commitment to ship, with follow-ups. The packaging needed to be better. I already knew one of the knobs was missing from the pictures, so "it is in relatively good condition" was farfetched. The freq button was smashed in during transport. But, electrically it worked fine. Since it also had VHF/UHF option, the value of my purchase was justified. To his credit, FedEx delivered it in two days, the fastest delivery I ever had from Japan. I'm a happy customer.

    This seller tried the same "too sick to ship" nonsense (see his negative feedback) he has done to so many other buyers. After a LOT of back and forth he shipped the radio gear, it got here in ONE DAY (from Japan!), perfect packing job and it all works as it should. If you are thinking about buying something from this seller, expect something similar. Why he does this, I have no idea. Proceed at your own risk. He did come through for me. YMMV.

    Though it took a little while to get tracking info, but the package arrived in a timely manner shortly after receiving the tracking #, and the contents inside were well packaged! After opening the package, the head units inside were wrapped thrice in bubble wrap, and then newspaper. The box was well cushioned, and the units appeared just about identically to the photos listed. I was a little hesitant at first given some of the reviews in the past, but I'm very glad I ordered from vinta_electron.

    Thanks a lot. Item arrived by the timeframe. Packaging could have been safer next time. I asked for double boxing, but seller didn't care too much about my request. A single box with a bubblewrap is risking the safe arrival overseas. Anyways, thanks for the presents (CDs). I give five stars now, but please double box next time. Hope to deal with you again.
