Warm Audio WA76 Discrete Compressor

An essential studio tool!
This unit really adds a very robust presence to any signal fed into it. I have been using it to buss drum regions out and back into Logic Pro X and my drum tracks finally have the power and clarity that plugins just can't create. Also fantastic on guitars, vocals and bass. Looking forward to tracking some acoustic guitar with this, soon. I'm sure the WA76 won't let me down.

Completely disappointing tape echo...
I found this pedal to have a very synthetic sound overall with an annoying choral effect that could not be dialed out at at all. It's a large pedal for what it offers too. Sure, it has some nice features like presets, different reverbs etc.. but I found all of that very counter intuitive. The reverb algorithms are of poor quality to be honest. Also, the 'twist' function is very gimmicky in my opinion and isn't very musical sounding. Finally, the oscillation mode is way too loud and completely uncontrollable. Trust me, buy a Catalinbread Belle Epoch Deluxe instead. A far superior tape echo emulation pedal in every way.
