Sony RM-ED052 RMED052
This is not quite up to the quality of the genuine Sony remote, but for the price it's excellent so why not buy a spare for when the original dies.

Small, light, and very very bright!
This is a very handy little work light with a good spread of light. Ideal for festivals etc as you can easily tuck it away in a pocket and you'll hardy know you're carrying it, it's so light weight.
It easily clips on to your pocket just like a pen, to keep both hands free when needed.
and while it maybe small, don't under estimate the huge amount of light this thing produces!
It has three modes of operation. Full output, Half output (which is plenty for most tasks), and flashing red for breakdowns etc. The use of the half light mode dramatically extends the battery life.
It looks quite robust with it being made of hard anodized aluminium.

This is an easy kit to build, with clear instructions. It even comes with a basic enclosure which makes it super value for money.
