Silenced my [loudly] creaking parcel shelf
The parcel shelf on my Mazda 3 hatchback had been creaking loudly and somebody on a forum suggested felt strips along the adjacent hard plastics that it rests on might help. I bought these strips to see for myself and can confirm they work. The creaking has not been heard since I fitted them. It is difficult to define 'quality' for felt strips but they certainly do the job. My minor gripe is that they are not as sticky as I had anticipated, so they don't grip in place particularly tightly. Now that I have 'proof of concept', though, I am prepared to glue them down more neatly and with something a little stronger. There is plenty left if I find use for it elsewhere.

Does what is needed
The original one snapped, I bought this to replace it so the parcel shelf lifts up properly. It worked and remains in place three weeks later so good so far. Arrived swiftly and fits perfectly. Not much more can really be said about a plastic plug. :-)

Fits perfectly
Fits my 2nd generation (late 2009) Mazda3 hatchback perfectly. The original snapped when I hurriedly forced the boot open in the dark with a large obstruction (car booster seat) on the parcel shelf. I heard something drop and rattle down something but could never find it. Turns out it was the pin in the middle of the clip that fixes it firmly in place. This replacement just presses in with a click and has held firm ever since. It turned up quicker than expected and the free postage was appreciated. No issues to report.
