Old models can be good.
First the bad: the Tamron lens is very soft at it's far end of 300. The Sony is heavy and bulky.
The good: I like buttons more than menus and the a850 has them. Especially useful is the ISO button. Image quality is very good low light image less so. Plan on wide aperture setting.
For the money, it's a terrific performer.

Definitely one of the better tablets available.
As an owner of multiple types of tablets with different operating systems, I find the nexus 10 to be my favorite stand alone Netflix movie viewer.
Sound is the tablet's Achilles heel; I am usually forced to wear ear buds to hear dialogue.
Resolution is great and the antenna picks up relatively weak signals.
Like all tech things, it is dropping in price and to some degree I wish I had waited to save the $50 over what I paid.

The world of micro 4/3
I have read a lot about the Lumix DMC-GX7 and purchased it when the price dropped as a result of the newer GX8 being released. The 20mm lenses produces images as expected. I have trouble with the EVF on the GX7: it appears blurry and I can't find a diopter dial on the camera. My Olympus OM-D E-M5 EVF is clear as a bell. Since I am still learning about the GX7 I assume I will solve this issue. Otherwise, regarding image quality, I cannot tell the difference between my Olympus OM-D E-M5 & Lumix DMC-GX7.
