1 of 1 found this helpful I needed to do a small patch repair on my Artexed wall, after filling with mortar, then skimming with plaster, i now needed to Artex. Now i'm not a builder or any other type of maintenance man, so doing this job is all new to me. After mixing it up in a bucket (£1) from local shop i applied to wall with a trowel, then proceeded to replicate the swirl flower pattern, blending into existing pattern. Using firm bristled paint brushes and bits of odd materials as my tools, i created only what i can describe as utter perfection. The Artex was amazing and a dream to use, no lumps, sags or holes, i even used a bit to stipple a patch on my bay window ceiling, both jobs were brilliant, even if i say so myself, people thought i had, had it done by a pro! So to summarize, i would definitely recommend this to anyone, especially for the price, go on, give it a try. Oh! by the way, i threw the £1 bucket away. :-)
