Difficult to assemble
The instructions are very confusing, holes don't line up being well and metal is very thin. No opening at bottom to clean ash. I do like using it now that is assembled, but I don't expect this to last more than a couple years.

There's a reason it's cheap...
3 of 3 found this helpful Years ago, I bought a Coby DVD player and didn't have problems with it. I was nervous about purchasing it back them since Coby is a no-name electronics brand, but it worked well. Gave it to a friend when I moved across the country.
The DVD player I bought recently (May 2010) is crap. It is very finicky and it won't play always play a regular, non-burned/bootleg DVD. It plays burns ok. It's very frustrating that it won't play regular, region 1 (US) DVDs, and I have stuff I can't watch on this thing.
It also gets hot to the touch very quickly. If you try to put it on it's side, for ventilation, it often will act up.
I'll have to pony up $$$ to get a decent DVD player soon.

Board does not fully light up
1 of 1 found this helpful The board does not fully light up. The light only works on the side where the power button is. The light is very dim on the other side of the board, even at full power. It is not late enough to trace. I don't recommend this board.
