suspenseful
always loved this version which is actually the second time it was made...there have been recent remakes, but none come close. Edward Fox is well-cast in this film as are the others in the cast.

FABULOUS FILMS !
All 3 films are very engaging...never a dull moment! They are all films based on books written by Nicholas Sparks, and I think they are topknotch....the characters and story line are both well-developed, and these films are very emotionally evocative..enjoy them if you are lucky enough to see these and all of Nicholas Spark's films!!

"The Maori of New Zealand"
3 of 3 found this helpful I lived in Australia for 8 years, during which time i visited the Northern and Southern Islands of New Zealand...this film is about the indigenous peoples of New Zealand, or the Maori. The actors are Maori, and the film is excellent as it unravels the various beliefs of the Maori people through the eyes of a very young Maori girl. It is a great film!
