You can still get lost
I decided that moving a GPS unit between two vehicles was a pain in the [ don't ask ] .
I already had experience with the Garmin 225W, liked it ,and was familiar with its operation. I decided to obtain another for the "new" car.
This 225W came with updated software and , though my RAV4 will not float -- thus no driving to Europe -- all features on the new unit functioned flawlessly, as does the older Garmin unit.
i particularly like the size of this unit -- tucked away in the left corner of my dashboard, it provides speed limit info., along with the actual speed that the car is going [ which frequently are different.
All the features that are to be found on other GPS units are present on this one.
Actual GPS plotted locations are to be trusted! Period!
To follow blindly, all ROUTE suggestions given by " the lady in the sky" is to get lost frequently.
One must drive with some awareness of where one intends to go , lest one takes the long way home.
Have a paper map with you at all times and be prepared to STOP and look at it once in a while.
