Poorly made, traction rods fall off
1 of 1 found this helpful I had this model on my layout and it worked for about a year and then two of the traction rod holders that connect to the wheels suddenly came off and put all the wheels out of alignment and balance. There was no way of refitting the rods to the wheels as the little lugs that connect the rods to the wheels continuously fell off and the model was useless after that. Contacted Hornby but they were useless. The quality of Hornby products has definitely gone downhill in the past couple of years and for the money you pay, the cheap parts and cheap manufacturing abilities definitely shows.

For this price, you cannot go wrong!!. Excellent buy
A brilliant product that is easy to install and use.
The keyboard can be on permanant blue, permanant red, permanat purple or a rotating fade-in - fade-out of all the colours.
Good solid build and everyone at work after seeing this one, wants to get one themselves.
USB connectivity makes it easy to plug and play.

Brilliant Little Pump
I bought this to power a half barrel plastic tub which I have turned into a small pond.
I saw this on EBay and thought, for the price it is, I'll give it a go.
Installed it and it is perfect. Other people who paid more for solar pumps cannot believe I got this so cheap and it works all the time that the sun is on it, whereas other pumps even in sun dont seem to want to work.
I would highly recommend this pump for all small ponds.
