Great at the moment

A great and practical reference book
An 850-page compendium of well over one hundred diverse functions and procedures, most of which you may never use but will be thankful for as time goes by. Had there been more methods which I could immediately use, I would have probably given 5 stars - many others may well do so.
The book is conveniently divided by chapters into 12 topics such as "Documents and Text", "Mouse and Menu" and "Graphics". Each method contains copious notes and tables relating to the settings needed on the components being used, sample screen-shots as well as the full source code. There is also an Appendix which briefly summarises the contents of the accompanying CD.
The book I got was second-hand and its condition was rated as "Very Good" by the vendor; I was not disappointed.
My only gripe was that the plastic wrapper in which it was delivered had split, the book being so large, but it was impossible to say whether this was due to inadequate packaging or the carelessness of the courier.
In summary, a really helpful addition to any Delphi programmer's bookshelf. Buy it whilst you can!
