Well made and compact
These couplings are well made and compact. Others I have had have been much wider and bulky.
I have not used them for long but from what I have seen I would certainly recommend them for mobile units; BBQs etc.
Would buy again.

DC07 - A good all rounder
3 of 3 found this helpful I have had 2 DC07s now and have just bought one for my mother; would recommend to anyone - particularly refurbished ones around £70!
Minor criticisms: in spite of the big hype about not having filters, they do and need cleaning, particularly the Hepa's, but these are easily washed (don't puth them back in wet!). A friend was about to ditch her DC03 due to lack of suction until I cleaned the filter for her and brought it back to life!
Another reviewer complained about the dust when you empty it. If you put a bin bag around the cylinder before you pull the trigger (to open the bottom hatch)and hold it in place around the cylinder, dust is minimal; just don't squeeze the bin bag after! Do it outside. Also when you have emptied it and have closed the hatch, give the cylinder a few sharp slaps with your hand then empty it again; you'll be surprised how much more dust comes out. It's worth it once in a while to take it to someone who has a compressed air line (car repair or such) and give the cylinder a good blow through (now that is dusty!).
There is a warning in the manual about being careful when using the hose with the machine on the stairs - the powerful suck can (and does) pull it towards you if the nozzle becomes blocked and can be pulled down stairs (I know from experience!).
One more tip - don't try to clean up wet plaster with it; it picks it up but that's it for the cyclones!!!!
