Great tool, limited connectivity with older models
5 of 5 found this helpful I purchased this specifically to help with reading, diagnosing, and clearing intermittent airbag warning lights on a 2000 Saab 9 3 SE. The tool itself was great and read/cleared regular CEL issues with no trouble. However, it would not connect to the Trionic (ignition), TCM (transmission), Airbag, or ABS systems and kept returning a 'No Connection' message (asking if the vehicle had an ECM!) for all of those even though it was clearly connecting properly to the OBDII. Sadly, I had to return this - wished it had worked. I understand some of the issue might be the proprietary Saab control systems, but this was advertised to do exactly what I purchased it for, and it did not do that.
