Braces not suspenders.
I'm neither American or a Canadian Lumberjack, so what I bought are "Braces" for keeping my trousers in place in comfort. I have had several sets of braces with those useless metal clips. They tend to become undone so I opted for the button type. Old school? Yes, but if it ain't broke it don't need fixin'. So to conclude I am very happy with my purchase and would recommend anyone that has issues with their trousers or skirt for that matter keeping their ankles warm getting a set of Button Braces..(For Canadian Lumberjack reference you need to check out "Monty Python's Lumberjack song".
