Do not buy this DVD
This has to be one of the most amateurish DVD's I have ever had the misfortune to watch. The technical quality is poor. It almost appears that the DVD has been copied from an original VHS recording with very poor colour. The supposed journey around the villages is scant to say the least. Very little is seen of the actual villages. As examples the section for Bainbridge concentrates on a view of the village stocks and hardly anything is seen of the village. The section supposedly showing Thwaite concentrates on a stone door lintel and nothing is seen of the village. The end section concentrates on views of winter snows without any indication of where they are. They could be anywhere. As well as the poor filming production the technical production of the DVD is below par. The copy I received kept stopping and there were a number of sections where the continuity of the recording could only be described as staccato. I would certainly not recommend its purchase.
