The Best Introductory Course In Meteorology of Its Time
This is a refined course in Meteorology which builds upon earlier well-respected schemes of instruction. Although it was published in 1981 there is a lot which still has relevance today as foundation concepts are presented in a concise way. Perhaps some colour cloud photographs would make greater impact and satellite imagery would augment diagrams of synoptic features. A supporting text on Jet Stream Meteorology would give some support to the upper air analysis mentioned in the book.
