Less orange than other tanners that make you look like an Oompa Loompa, but WEAR A MIT!!
0 of 1 found this helpful Ok so this self tanner is a good one. It’s got almost no scent, definitely no foul odors, mocked ok clear, but gets dark quickly. It leaves your skin feeling hydrated for sure- BUT, IN ORDER TO PREVENT ANY UNEVEN BLOTCHY TAN JOB, YOU MUST DO THE FOLLOWING. (I had to learn the hard way. After applying this all over my body without gloves or a tan mit 🤭) 1. The way to get SELF TANNER OFF is HOW YOU PUT IT ON, THE RIGHT WAY! 2. How to get the best overall even tan? Exfoliate your skin with Glycolic Acid Exfoliant. This removes dead skin and this will guarantee an even blotchy free self tan. 3. How to remove it? Using the same technique. Exfoliate the dead skin/tanned skin off using Glycolic Acid Exfoliant. 4. There is no one size fits all here. Depending on your nature complexion and how naturally fair or dark your skin is, will determine your results. I was told this specific product works best for women with olive complexion. Only- because I’m NEVER IN THE SUN, I’M ÜBER WHITE! Therefore, after the self tanner color sets in, it can be shocking, but that’s because you’re not use to it. The color result will be different than other peoples results. Unless you can find someone else with a complexion that matches your own. 5. DON’T OVER DO IT! Just because it comes on clear doesn’t mean it’s like Jergen’s Gradual Glow. You WILL SEE RESULTS IN AN HOUR and you WILL SEE MORE in 48 hours! 6. USE A MIT TO APPLY TANNER! Yes it’s clear, but not for long. You may think you’ll be wasting extra product that’s absorbed into the mug, be that as it may, you’re still wasting some baby dying your hands. You’ll wish you never did this. I scrubbed my hands with baking soda white wine vinegar, lemon juice & soap for hours getting it off. It worked but I could’ve just gotten Glycolic Acid Exfoliant instead. 6. Did I mention Glycolic Acid Exfoliant?? You might think you exfoliated and you could’ve bit without a chemical Exfoliant like Glycolic Acid, you are not going to see which areas you DIDN’T EXFOLIATE ENOUGH TIL AFTERWARDS. Then you’ll blame the product instead of yourself for not using a chemical Exfoliant. Use 10% Glycolic Acid Exfoliant Pads for the face or a 10% Glycolic Acid Exfoliant scrub on your body. This will GUARANTEE THE MOST EVEN TAN. If you went into a salon for a spray tan, they’d make sure to exfoliate you with Glycolic Acid Exfoliant FIRST! They wouldn’t use Baking Soda White Wine Vinegar Lemon Juice and Soap. That was a classic rookie mistake! I’m a rookie, but I did my homework and after hours of removing my first fake tan “gone wrong” I got some 10% Glycolic Acid Scrub to make sure I don’t mess up again! That’s really a waste of product! ALWAYS REMEMBER - THE ONLY SAFE TAN IS A FAKE TAN! Good luck to you all!
