Hi there,
I'm Peter and I live a few miles north of Brighton, about an hour south of London. At one point I lived in the old town of Hastings for ten years and had the opprtunity to purchase quite a lot of ethnic textiles from a major dealer there, as also to access a number of antiques - furniture and bric a brac. I also became interested in Turkish carpets and became a (limited-budget!) rug buyer. More recently I have bought one or two vintage rugs through Etsy.
I retired this year, will move to a smaller house, and my arrival on eBay coincides with a major downsizing: far too many possessions, and lots of it will have to go. Being retired, I am old enough to feel able to say goodbye to most of my treasures, But beautiful things need to be passed around, and the plus side in all this - apart from seeing some cash arrive as the items leave - is that other people will be able to enjoy things which have really enriched my life for many years.
