Dyeing a saddle bag
I used it on a faded black canvas saddle bag, and am a bit disappointed that despite several coats you can still see the greyed areas....obviously not as grey as they were, but still noticeable. Also the dye takes the suppleness out of the canvas. So it's OK, but I had hoped for more! I've yet to see if it's water soluble in the rain.....but as the dye's solvent in meths, I expect it to be OK.

Knobbing it!!
It's a neat fix to a problem which should meet all eventualities.....and emailing advice is a good idea.
