Stupid screws on the transmitter.
1 of 1 found this helpful Haven't used it yet but first impression is why are there tiny screws on back of transmitter??? Already lost one putting batteries in. Could have made a slide and snap like the receiver. 2nd it looks to be made by Maverick even though it says Remington. Not a bad thing just stating what was on the back product label. 3rd, I wish the min temp went higher than what it does on the BBQ probe. I don't like to let mine dip below 200 but max is like 176. Other than that I will see how it works. It's cost effective enough and at worst, I can always just use it as a meat probe without opening the smoker.
