You need to put it on correctly
This is an excellent product, but you need to put it on correctly. I've read other reviews saying it's like a spray paint. If you want that pink skin to not show thru you thinning hair here's how to put it on correctly. Part your hair over the thin area. Shake can, spray a bit in a small bowl, take a small brush, dip it in the spray you put in the bowl and then brush it on the scalp on the parted hair, then once again part the hair and do the same thing in that area. This then covers the pink skin and doesn't coat down your hair as it would if you just did using it as a hair spray. Now if you want to totally make your hair a different color then go ahead and use it as a hair spray. But if you just want to hide those really thin spots then do the paint method.

The faucet itself is excellent. However the part that goes to the song is plastic and you need to be extremely careful with plastic not too tighten
