Check the size .
It was larger than the original and very difficult to fit into the restricted confines of the motor cover but by removing the fitting bracket to the other side of the motor I managed to squeeze it in, It works fine.

badly designed electronics
I have had two of these and they both gave up the ghost after a few uses.I thought that being genuine De Walt they would be of better quality than the cheaper alternatives.
