Superb adaptation and very useful for GCSE English students
I am tutoring a pal's daughter for her GCSE English, she has to read the book, as it is a big book and Dicken's writing takes some getting used to. We watched this and it has helped her enormously. I do remind her that it is an adaptation so doesn't necessarily adhere exactly to the novel.
The casting is wonderful.
