Works very well. May bit a little difficult to cool referance AMD R9 290/x vrm's but doable

This heatsink can do wonders from temps went from 95C reference heatsink hell all the way down to a much more manageable 72C it's very quiet and very good at keeping the gpu it's self cool on an amd r9 290 that can shove out 275watts easy when overclocked. Cooling the main voltage regulator modules VRM1 on that card may be somewhat difficult. I've watched a few videos on how people have attempt to do so using this kit. I've seen a lot of them done with just the 3 semi long heatsinks . I attempted to add a small 4th one on the top end. It would probably be better to get a separate vrm cooling kit but like this it doesn't get much higher than 92C if I keep the fans on high or a fan pointed on the general direction of the vrms with the card being stressed by fur mark Overall the product is very good. It might take some creativity in heatsink placement on an AMD R9 290. especially that bottom memory chip near the pcie slot.
