Time to move on from wood
I needed more White American Oak skirting boards so as to match up with what I already had. They would also need staining and polishing. The cost has become prohibitive so I overcame my sniffiness about using plastic and bought the styrene ones. I am very pleased with them because they are easy to keep clean and I haven't got to worry about damage when the vacuum cleaner is bashed into them, Would buy again.

Great for hard floors
I bought this item as a refurbished product because I didn't want to spend too much money as I had done before on a steam cleaner only to bin it a few months later.
All of my ground floor is covered with porcelain tiles with an attractive colour of grout that I really want to maintain. Whilst a mop and bucket is good it is rather labour intensive. The steamer however is much easier to use, has a nice long electric flex. cleans my tiles beautifully and the pad is easy to wash through. Very pleased so far.
