Good product, good price, minor niggles
1 of 1 found this helpful For a DIY’er this should be simple to put up, but its worth being really careful, there are a few places where one can make mistakes. Definitely there’s some drilling invoved (1/8” bit would work) and it would be worth drilling at slight angles to make the screws easier to drive. And with all these things, do think hard before leaping in to any stage of it. I very nearly went wrong.
The table looks good and robust. The only real disappointment was that the wood hasn’t seasoned properly and there were a few splits in the end grain which will shorten its life. You get what you pay for so no complaints. Worth buying a can of preservative and soaking all end grain, especially the seat legs, for 24 hours.
