Very nice product, a little heavy but managable, tripod recommended
1 of 1 found this helpful As we live near the sea we decided to buy these Celestron binoculars, they are very good for long distance seeing ships, aircraft and the other side of the bay at long range. They are not too heavy but because of there size you really do need a tripod as your hands shake a little and this do not help to focus in on what you are trying to see. They come in a very nice case/holder bag with a strap and they are very well made. We are very happy with them and have had them for about a month and I must say you can see ships a long way out to see. My wife is not a person for stuff like this but even she was impressed with what you can see at long range.
(If you want to look at anything close range these will not be suitable).
