Overall, not a bad bookshelf stereo.
2 of 2 found this helpful This is a nice bookshelf stereo system. The volume can be turned up loud enough to be heard throughout the house. It is not so powerful that you will be driven from the room. Have not tried the phonograph. The radio and tape deck are both easy to use. The only issue is with the CD player. On a couple of occasions, when rotating to the third position, the drive seemed to stick and would give an error message. Turning the system off and back on seems to fix the problem. This has only happened a couple of times. Perhaps the CD player is breaking in. For myself, it is not worth trying to return the system for this reason.
